About the Training:

In an era where speaking truth can come at great risk, protecting your voice is more important than ever.

Streaming Asylum invites refugee and stateless journalists, content creators, and human rights defenders β€” along with national Ugandans β€” to a specialized training on Digital Security for Journalistic and Advocacy Work.
This training will offer practical tools, strategies, and critical know-how to help you safeguard your devices, data, communications, and online presence.

Your Commitment

To foster a ripple effect of knowledge, all selected participants will:
– Share a link to a sample of past work on refugee/human rights issues
– Commit to creating 1 new piece of content (article, video, podcast, social post, etc.) based on what they learn
– Share it publicly and provide the platform link (e.g. blog, YouTube, Facebook, Medium)
